When you choose to elope in Banff, you’re choosing presence over pressure, peace over production, and experience over expectation.
And once you live it, you’ll never be able to imagine it any other way.
That’s what eloping in Banff is all about; stripping away everything that doesn’t matter so what’s left is pure, intentional, and completely yours.
(Or just the two of you and your closest family and friends.) Imagine exchanging vows as the sun hits the peaks, canoeing along the shoreline in the mist, or climbing into a helicopter hand-in-hand, knowing you did this your way.
Our photos were the most amazing pictures, and words will never be able to do them justice. We’ve had so many people say they’re the best wedding photos they’ve ever seen. Our favourite compliment has been how well they captured our love for each other - just the two of us and exactly how we felt in those moments.”
While one of us frames the big picture, the other captures the little details, creating a layered story that feels alive, real, and complete.
Whether you’re stepping onto a rocky overlook or walking down a forest trail, having a two-person team means someone is always nearby to guide, steady, and support you.
One of us can help with little things while the other captures the candid reactions and in-between moments happening naturally. It’s seamless teamwork that lets you relax into the day and stay fully in the moment with each other.
We’ll get to know you, so don’t be shy! Tell us what you love, what you can’t stand, and what makes a day feel like you. Your answers shape everything from your locations to your timeline.
A beautifully designed, everything-you-need manual for eloping in Banff, packed with insider tips, checklists, and experience-first advice you won’t find anywhere else.
We actually know the Rockies. And using our firsthand knowledge, we’ll handpick the perfect spots based on your vibe, comfort level, and vision.
Hair, makeup, florals, officiants. We’ll connect you with our favourite local pros who actually get elopements and make your day feel like one long lucid dream.
Built entirely around you. Your pace, your priorities, and your moments. No rigid schedules allowed here, just a natural flow that keeps things easy and intentional.
From permits to packing lists, we’ll guide you through every decision so you never have to figure it out alone. You can relax knowing you’ve got two experts who’ve done this a few hundred times before.
Whether you picture a slow morning with coffee by the lake, a full-day adventure across the Rockies, or a helicopter ride to somewhere you’ve never been, we’ll help you make it happen.
No two elopements are the same, and that’s kind of the whole point.
It’s the kind of “is this real life?” moment you’ll never stop talking about.
If hiking isn’t part of your vision, no problem! There’s always the scenic route. And by scenic, we mean soaring straight into the mountains by helicopter.
You get the experience; we’ll take care of everything else.
If your dream wedding day involves showing up, taking a deep breath, and just enjoying every second while someone else handles the details, this is absolutely for you.
Whether it’s a proposal, an engagement, an anniversary, or just a day that feels worth remembering, we’ll help you turn it into an experience you’ll actually enjoy.
You don’t need a reason to take photos that make you feel something.
When the day comes, you get to show up, take a deep breath, and actually live it. No posing, no pressure, and no pretending; just you two, doing your thing.
Within a few days, you’ll receive some preview photos because waiting is the worst. Then, in about 8-10 weeks you’ll receive your final gallery: a collection of moments that’ll bring every feeling back. Make a date night, look through your photos, and enjoy it all over again.
Send us a quick message via the inquiry form on our site and tell us what you’re dreaming up, even if it’s still just an idea. We’ll set up a call to talk through what your perfect elopement day could look like.
Once we know what feels right for you, we’ll start building it out together. From location ideas and vendor recs to timelines and logistics, we’ll handle the behind-the-scenes while you focus on the fun parts.
We’ve worked with couples who hiked at sunrise, and others who slept in, shared a slow morning together, and said “I do” over their coffee. There’s no single version to follow and no expectations to meet. Your elopement can be relaxed, adventurous, simple, luxurious, intimate, playful, or a mix of it all.
An adventure elopement is simply an intentionally small and meaningful way to get married, crafted around what feels right for the two of you.
And our job is to help you figure out what that looks like. We guide you through the planning, help you choose locations, take care of the logistics, prepare weather backups, and answer every “Where do we even start?” question. You get to feel confident, supported, and excited while we handle the behind-the-scenes details.
An elopement is a non-traditional and intentional way to get married. This can really mean whatever you want it to. The focus will be completely on you and your partner and you will spend the day doing what you love together. Every couple is unique, so every elopement will be unique.
Of course! However, it’s important to note that Parks Canada allows a maximum of 20 people for all elopement permits. It’s such a cozy way to celebrate with just your favourite people in attendance.
As soon as you can! We open our bookings in January for the following year and have a limited number of elopements we take on. September always books out first, so the earlier the better for fall in the Rockies.
That being said, we’ve booked elopements as little as two weeks out, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re planning a last minute event! We would love to help you plan and capture the day.
Mountain weather can be unpredictable and we are a big fan of embracing whatever Mother Nature throws at us (safely, of course!). And no matter what, your photos will look stunning.
Everyone says that. And then 10 minutes in, they forget we’re even there. We’ll guide you when needed and give you space when it matters. You just focus on being together.
Absolutely not! There are so many beautiful locations in the Rockies here that don’t require any hiking. If you don’t want to spend all day hiking, we could spend all day fishing, picnicking, or meandering. The options are endless and the most important thing is that you craft a day that is true to you.
Not at all! To get married in Alberta there are no residency or citizenship requirements. You can check this website for more information - https://www.alberta.ca/get-marriage-licence.aspx and we are more than willing to help walk you through the process.
